What is Podiatry?

Podiatry is the modern term for chiropody. It involves expert treatment of any foot related problems and includes trouble associated with the lower limb, such as lower back pain, heel pain and hip pain. All things related to the way we walk.

Podiatry and chiropody are protected titles. A podiatrist must spend many years training at a university and treats anything from corns, calluses and nail care to advanced biomechanics, and nail surgery.
